For quality, sharpness, speed, versatility & price I couldn't find anything more suited to my needs.
Seems like I got a good copy as well - after around 100 shots of many different scenes/people I simply couldn't fault it and the ability to get in close/almost macro makes it doubly versatile for portraits - as well as general use.
Anyways, initial impressions are that, much like my Canon 50mm f1.8 II, this one's a keeper
